Guardian Prince

These are characters from my "Guardians" story.

As Noble notices a need in his kingdom for a political reconciliation between humanity and the beast-people, he decides that the appropriate mediator for these proceedings will not be himself, but the half beast-half human Risa, the girl that he adopted into his family.

Fifteen years after the conclusion of the story, Noble goes missing and perpetuates reports of his demise. In his will, he has named Risa as the successor to the throne of Leinfahd. But due to the controversial nature of her inter-racial existance, Noble alters his appearance and reappears as a wandering swordsman, by the name of Milliad Marsai as a means by which to protect her in secret. But Risa, knowing her Noble's smell, sees through his guise instantly. And instead of exposing him, she appoints him as her head of security and personal advisor.
